喜歡一首歌，有時候就是沒啥原因。
坦白說，我首次聽到這首歌是Simply Red 在1989年的冠軍版本，
這曲子在ICRT大行其道之際，烙印實在太深，頗有青出於藍之姿。
Simply Red 的主唱Mick Hucknall 詮釋這種靈魂藍味十足的老歌，
歌韻和味道都不亞於原唱Melvin Harold And The Blue Notes的黑人主唱 Terry Pendergrass
獲得英國音樂獎最佳男歌手絕非浪得虛名。
雖然Melvin Harold And The Blue Notes來自費城，
我還是一直覺得簡稱為Philly Sound的「TSOP」(The Sound Of Philadelphia)
輕快活潑；和聲優美的特色，該團是不足以成為代表的。
不過，誰叫70年代量產許多成功的費城之音，
連Elton John都要出了首冠軍單曲～Philadelphia Freedom來歌詠。
