1952年出生於喬治亞州Macon的黑人女歌手Randy Crawford
從教堂唱詩班展現歌唱天賦，15歲開始演唱生涯，
20歲發行第一首處女作"If You Say The Word"之後，
隨即就得到樂壇大歌級人物Quincy Jones、George Benson的青睞賞識，
擔綱暖場演唱。
Randy Crawford閒適的歌聲中，始終蘊藏著濃郁的靈魂唱腔，
