許多西洋樂迷應該都記得這首在1973年紅極一時的Playground In My Mind
但是，提起這位名不見經傳的演唱者，
可能多數的歌迷都記不得這號人物了！
Clint Holmes可以說是標準的「歌紅人不紅」，
「Playground In My Mind」一曲從出版到走紅，
以好事多磨的龜速花了將近一年的功夫，
才在1973年6月份登上排行榜2週亞軍，
可惜始終與冠軍寶座無緣。
這首歌是描繪一個人在困境中陷入神遊，
在幻想中的遊樂園裡找到了快樂。
歌曲中的童聲則是製作人Paul Vance的兒子。
Clint Holmes一曲成名之後還不斷推出新作，
只是很不幸地，除了沒有一首上榜之外，
後來推出的單曲一張比一張還慘。
「Playground In My Mind」成為Clint Holmes唯一的一首暢銷歌曲，
還很殘酷地被Billboard歸類成One-Hit Wonder！
